So Pakistan thrash Australia .....not surprising.

I told you....Pakistan will be the new superpowers of the game....
We have much better upcoming talent than Australia or any other nation.
And this talent will be handled by a top coach in Woolmer....I would be seriously frightened of Pakistan's power and potential if I were from other countries.

How do people see the third place playoff (Eng-Aus) and final (Ind - Pak) turning out ?

I'm tipping Australia for the first match today but I'm unsure about the final - too close to call.

Pakistan have a weak batting lineup and India's opening pair of pacers are simply awesome, as such i don't think it will be a close contest.

Though i sincerely hopes that the Pak juniors does better than their seniors!

The Aussies should be grateful to Baxter for giving that dodgey catch which IMO looked to have been floored and Baxter gave it out when De Silva consulted him . (I agree with Blaze - that looked to have hit the ground - Anyway did not make a difference to the result - but that was Pakistan's 3rd or 4th wicket to fall )(not too dissimilar to the Ponting Catch -which as we all know was not given by Mark Benson and Peter Parker)

So Bangladesh deafeated Pakistan two consecutive times(U19 Afro Asian Cup & U 19 World Cup) .... not surprising. If I were pakistani, I would be very frightened to play against Bangladesh next time (cricket or soccer). Frightened, be very very firghtened.

V good effort - seem to be some players of real promise in the team.

People also tend to forget that, of the favoured teams before the tournament, all were far more experienced in the conditions than you boys.
