Well it worked.

Dunno why Jack came back on
Just as they're building pressure again with the spinners, more average stuff from Jack. He needs to bowl his spinners out before going near a seamer again if he wants to win (or restrict Windies NRR which could be key).

Weird umpiring there - England appeal for a catch down the legside (looked like he nicked it) but given not out and a wide not given either. Well it was nowhere near his pads....

Another cracking finish in this comp. England should be assured of finishing above WI no matter the result on NRR, but a win makes it much easier to make the semis.

So Denly goes for 0/17 off 5 and then not to be seen again.

While Jack keeps going for a run a ball. Poor captaincy must be said.

It's been really poor from McKinnie. He's not even used Benkenstein who took a 3fer with his spin in the first game. Going back to seam has just leaked runs which he doesn't have.

Elsewhere, Afghanistan have been knocked out by Nepal. Their second 1 wicket loss of the tournament.

Jack being kept on has lost the game.

Straight out the Jos Buttler captaincy manual of incorrect bowling choices.

Brings Benkenstein on for dying embers and immediately takes a wicket. I know they're only 19 or under, but someone should be giving him a few hints.

How come we can work it out?

Two wicket win at the end.

I'll be interested to know the thinking behind McKinnie's bowling selections towards the end.

Didn't make sense at all.

By my reckoning, if SA want to top the group (and therefore likely avoid having to play Aus in the Super 6), they will need to beat Scotland either by about 120 runs, or in about a 29 over chase.

Bizarrely, SA Eng and WI will all have a negative NRR from their matches against each other going through to the Super 6's. I can only assume this is due to the DLS result.

Think he got away with an lbw second ball, looked plumb but not given. His luck just ran out.
Have to disagree, fairly clearly going down leg. After that he middled everything before giving it away. Someone of his talent needs to do better.

Honestly, I think he's auditioning for a paycheck in one of those curry goat leagues. Look at that WC where Brevis was smashing it and he caught the interest of money eyes.

It's sad because he would score hundreds galore with very slight adjustments.

We saw the same **** happened to Kyle Mayers…on a larger scale
Though I would say that Johnson, Dindyal and Andrew are the most talented shot makers we've produced for a long long time in my opinion. Dindyal is like a young Sarwan without the big scores. Johnson like Gayle with more footwork and Andrew is like a more powerful Shai Hope.
