Fraser-McGurk is obviously incredibly talented and levels above but his technique is a problem around off stump

Only 17 doe
If he's not a Michael Hill, he'll find ways to get rid of that in time.

He's like the amalgam and resulting produce of the generation who have watched Australian batting through the back half of the 2010s. Like a gene splicing experiment.

Seriously talented

Probably nick off for a while before sorting it out

Mmmh we'll just have to wait and see, that growing maturity and reaction to having the inevitable falling down.

You either die a Travis Head, Kpat or Bancroft or live long enough to see yourself become Will Bosisto.

Sully bowling land mines.

10 runs feels like 50 for the Windies.

Looks like a nice action, good pace and is getting nice movement.

Hitting a really nice length as well.

Just under 140km/h

Not at all convinced by our batting but as expected Searles and Forde did the business.

Searles pace was good at 141kph, along with Sully he was the quickest on view.

Afgan under 30s bear the home team lol... I don't know about the ages of the afgan team but they're quite good. Probably want to desperately win a tourney.

NZ lads unlucky to share points with Japan. The game rained off last night :-(

Watching SL play India under 19s. Matheesha is a Malinga look alike. Has even more side arm and awkward action. Bowling at decent pace but there's no speed gun to work out his pace.

Can’t be too critical as they’re just babies but didn’t really see anything from Australian bowlers apart from Sangha

Need to remember that Lee, Cummins, Indian bowlers in last WC etc were 150+ at their age

There’s a big difference between being “quick for their age” and serious pace

Sully looked alright from what I saw, but yeah nobody in the squad is genuinely express.

Wonder how quick Cameron McClure bowls? He looked to have half a yard on anybody else in the U19 nationals

There was a speed gun on the coverage I was watching. He was going at about 130-136kms.

And Hazlewood bowled at around 130 in this tournament at the same age.

Near 140 is plenty quick enough.

I feel most bowers add about 5kph from their 19 days once they get stronger and fitter.

Sully is a 140+ bowler when he’s older.. He had a nice action and nipped it a bit.

He might not be a Cummins, but he might be another Neser as an example.

Anyway, Cummins is what 25? Cameron Green is also only 20, and is definitely the best up and coming quick in Australia.

Sangha was definitely the most impressive. His action looks quite a bit like Rashid Kahn’s

Y no Afghanistan flag
Can a mod update the title to make it obvious the actual tournament has started.

I kinda wanted to see Nigeria play but Kayo probably made the right decision to show WI vs Eng.
