Just as we seemed to be working our way into the game, we lose Davies to a decent back of a length delivery. Maybe could have left on length as there's a fair bit of bounce about, but Davies was in and going ok so it's understandable wanting to get bat on ball and work it around.

COverton not looking like a number four batsman just yet.

Lovely action has Sandhu. Bit of Javigal Srinath about it.
Yes it all looks pretty effortless, yet he gets it down the other end at reasonable pace. England working hard to dig themselves out of the early trouble, can understand COverton knuckling down here, but doesn't look particularly balanced at the crease or that comfortbale, seems to be playing with the bat a fair distance ahead of himself.

Kapil has come out in a positive frame of mind, hopefully these two can settle down and try and get us a bit of a platform.

Me and my big mouth. Loose, loose shot from Kapil, always looked possible. Overton really does just have to hold his end up for a while now and hope for some support. Still batsmen to come though.

This kid Sandhu gonna be in the mix to play for the Blues? Looks really promising to me.
Depending on injures. We should have at least Bollinger, Copeland and Hazlewood around, + possibly Starc and Cummins. So he should be a way back. But he's got a rookie contract and we do like to play as many bowlers as possible. Might just only get T20 games next season

Warning signs for England were in the Zim warm-up. Looks like a strong England side as well, plenty of guys with FC experience and real promise. Been pretty poor at under 19 level for far too long in all conditions.
