**Official** U-19 World Cup 2004

I'd be surprised if the Aussies beat Sri Lanka who I regard as favourites for the title.

South Africa must beat England on Friday to progress to the superleague given that Nepal should beat Uganda.

The "big two" both face acid tests on Friday !

Ravi Rampaul went off with vomitting and a headache. He appears to have the flu. He returned later though, but obviously only fielded.

Im at a loss to explain SA's defeat to Nepal... Thats brilliant for them though, and the ICC's development plans which I have a lot of time for....

Nice to see a guy ive faced a bit (Keegan Africa) in the runs and wickets though.... He must be a bit hacked off....

Well it was good to see NZ bounce back from their disappointing defeat to India.

389/2 against Scotland who were 149 all out.

Unbelievabley BJ Watling who at one stage was 22 off 72 balls v India, scored 154 off just 134 balls.

I can't believe Watling's effort.....he was so slow against India :)

I like the look of Craig Smith, he's consistently taken wickets in every game whereas some of the other bowlers on that list have taken 5 or 6 wickets in 1 match & then only a few in the others.

Thats amazing, that NZ medium pacer who decieved 2 indian batsmen in the same over with one of those slower balls that they think is a beamer... One of them turned around and the ball hit the stumps!

It was reminiscent of the Courtney Walsh ball to Graeme Thorpe in 2000, yet twice in one over!! :duh:

Im impressed with the Kiwi opener, he looks maori and his name escapes me.. begins with Te...... Very good... Their keeper looks like on to keep as well....
