Unfortunatley NZ really seem to have lost their way....7/133 now.
It had the makings of a very close game 3 overs ago.

I think the top order should have shown more urgency in the first 15 overs...scoring at nearly 6 an over against the Indian spinners was always going to be tough for the middle order.

77 off 54 is definitely leaving things very late, but it isn't all that improbable. I don't want NZ to roll over and play dead the way they seem to be doing.

If you're going to go down, go down fighting -- who knows, a few big blows may rattle the bowlers and make things a little bit easier.

--- added later 139/8, and it looks like its all over. Gupta's bowled really well, has anyone seen him/heard much of him as a future prospect?

I Know RP Singh is a promising pace bowler.
The Kiwi top order was troubled a lot by him today.

Abhishek Sharma is a leggie to watch. Don't know about Gupta.

India u19 215 bt NZ u19 146 by 69 runs.

NZ will be disappointed -- they obviously felt they were in with a big chance after bowling very well to get India out for 215.
But their innings never gained momentum despite a good effort from B Watling.
IMO, they lost this match in the first 15 overs by allowing the Indian seamers to dictate terms to them.
The pressure just got to them after that.
Still they'll learn from this game and they should beat Scotland comfortably which should see them into the Super League.

Robin Singh will be very pleased about his bowlers. They all bowled a good line and length and kept the pressure on the Kiwis.
He will be less pleased about his batsmen though -- it was a disappointing effort -- Sunny Singh batted well and the specialist batsmen would do well to learn from the way he batted.

That Aussie performance really bothers me.....this is supposed to be the best young talent in our country. Hopefully this is only the one game.....*crosses fingers and toes*

Don't worry Australia, South Africa also made an almighty mess of things against Nepal.

62/7 before posting 156 (Keegan Africa 52*)

Nepal made it to 95/4 before collapsing to 125/8 off 41.

Shakti Gauchan held firm, however, and hit the winning single off the last ball of the game to win by one wicket as he made 51*

Quite incredible.

Does any one know the score from SA VS Nepal

SA had scored 156 ALL OUT in 50 OVERS
Nepal win by 1 wicket with 2 balls to spare - stand of 14 for the 9th then 20 for the 10th.
