$20 is a good price for a T20. Or at least throw in a token for a free drink to try and hook people into buying the overpriced watered down ****.
$45 isn't so bad when you consider a movie is about $20 for typically 90 mins entertainment, whereas a T20 game is about 3.5 hours. Perhaps $40 would be better.

I'm guessing a T20I in Australia would be closer to $80.

Not that I know as I haven't been to one in 7 years but I very much doubt it's anything like that. A day of test cricket here is only around $40.

The overpriced (and crap, in the case of Westpac Stadium) food and drink adds into it as well though, it ends up being a lot more expensive.

Same as going to the movies, the popcorn, drinks, beers etc don't come with the ticket.

New Zealand is going to win today. Too much extra juice because of the home crowd, plus playing their historical rival, plus Guptill and Williamson are finally on form. They will play inspired cricket today I think.

Australia will then beat them in the finals.

people will pay 45 bucks for a game against an australian sports team that can actually beat us in something joe public kinda cares about

they won't pay it to see the west indies or sri lanka stranded in foreign conditions

Great start, but 200 or so needed again one feels. Even on the smaller ground no Santner leaves quite a hole in the attack.
