This umpires call LBW insanity is ridiculous. There is no way at all that the ball was missing those stumps.

Actually Umpire's Call is an interesting phenomenon because with the DRS it seemed to me that more umpire's would give out for LBW in those cases but it seems to be otherwise.

Once more, DRS is used as a gamble tool, rather than as a tool to reverse howlers, but I guess it was justified in this occasion.

Am I the only one who thinks umpires have got more defensive with their LBW calls recently? When England were in the UAE they were giving everything.

Seen this happen a few times, and I think it comes down to the camera we view from being slightly closer to long on than long off.

Still, bloody close. I was giving it live.

he's damn economical, but I swear Watson's bowling has lost a lot of potency in recent times. He used to always be the bowler to come on and actually show up the others by getting some movement.
Yeah it definitely has. I guess it was the last round of injuries, because a couple of years ago he was much more of a potential wicket taker.

Still throws in the odd good ball but mostly it's not that threatening. Just gives the other bowlers a break and occasionally gets some reverse.

It's not looking good for England. No real damage done yet but it looks ominous. Must get runs at a normal rate.
