*Official Third Test at Edgbaston

Haha, yeah, Nass holding on tight to that bat. All this filler often annoys me though - so much stating of the obvious.

Doesnt look too overcast though - so dont know how swing conducive the conditions will be.

According to MacGill an English fan put up a banner on the Australian team bus with the words: "MITCH JOHNSON THANKS FOR THE ASHES".

Then MacGill has also just said this series could be the making of Stuart Broad.

Huge 1st session for both side, we could be in massive trouble if English bowlers succeed in swinging the ball like they did on day 2 of the test, would be ideal if we bat till lunch without losing a wicket.

Big effort needed from Huss today, a lot has been said against him in the recent months, and best way for him to silence his critics would be ton up today, we really need a good knock from him.

Right guys, time for me to go. Enjoy the game everyone, well everyone on the right side of the equator.

If that doesn't fire Mitch up for the next test, then nothing else would, expecting a big performance from him at Headingley.

A fired up Mitch is probably more likely to lose his action, and really spray them all around.

He was certainly pretty angry when they showed a pre innings interview (I think it was done the night before) between him and Nass.

We will see I guess. Anyway, the banner was premature and silly, whatever happens.

Watto looking good here, and Onions not getting the ball to move. Sun is out too.

Huss looking alright too with a nice drive as I type.

Edit/ Beaten next up.

Edit 2/ Anderson might be better from the other end partnering Freddie, if Freddie is going to bowl a long one.
