It’s Trav’s World. We’re just living in it.
....how? India will win for a third time in about a years time. And so we should be. Losing to a SC side is embarrassing at the best of times. To do so at home twice was the lowest point for Aus cricket since the mid 1980s.
Seem to have recovered quite well though
LO stuff!?....how? India will win for a third time in about a years time.
Unless you're counting LO stuff to make up for Test series defeats at home. In which case, Australian cricket has fallen much farther than I realize.
Nah they've recovered from the embarrassment of losing to a SC side at home with a decent body of work since, in tests as well as LO. Losing in India early this year was not unexpected, but since then the WTC, Ashes and WC have made for a more than decent recovery from the embarrassment of the last Indian tour here.....how? India will win for a third time in about a years time.

Not defending any of that certainly, but India also won in Australia twice - and last time at the Gabba - despite playing their 'C' team net bowlers. Not to mention the fact that India was so shook by Australia winning a test earlier this year that they prepared the direst surface of the year to maintain their 2-1 lead.
Yeah, I think this rule did the opposite of what it was designed for. It was meant to keep the ball swinging longer and redress the balance between bat and ball, but what it's mainly done is seen the newer balls travel further, and reverse swing removed from the equation. Back to one ball, I reckon. As a lowly cricket fan who has no power over the governing and rules of the game, I would really appreciate if reverse-swing stays in the game and never leaves. It was awesome to see.
**** your bull**** two ballsz!

"despite"?Not defending any of that certainly, but India also won in Australia twice - and last time at the Gabba - despite playing their 'C' team net bowlers.
The problem with one ball was it died after 35 overs. Maybe have 2 new balls for the first 30 overs and then allow the fielding captain to pick the one they want for the last 20?Yeah, I think this rule did the opposite of what it was designed for.
