Has he been getting past the 1st round atleast
Yes Henman won bigtime yesterday...winning in 3 sets and looking really comfy on clay beating B..Be...I forgot the guy's name again..!

Monfils Vs Canas
Jheng Vs Schiavone
Suarez Vs Chakvetadze
Peer Vs Bartoli
Rusdeski Vs Saretta
Stosur Vs Talaja
Vaidisova Vs Safarova

These are real interesting matchups for me. I would have included Sania Vs Dulko if Sania wasn't just coming out of an injury. Peer Vs Bartoli could be a cracker with both being future stars imo. Vaidisova and safarova would be good too looking at the way Safaraova has played so well lately even beating the likes of Na Li on her way to winning a wta event being a qualifier. Damn... if i would ever be to a Grand Slam... i don't think i would ever enter the main courts until it reaches the QF stage atleast ;)

Monfils vs Canas is the only match up of note there. Monfils is a future top 5 player and Canas is a potential winner of the tournament for mine, given his draw. the others are pretty average clashes.
Rusedski will probably lose to Saretta, but u never know...

So it had nothing to do with potential winners infact i don't any of them have a chance of winning FO. Just from the point of view of the viewer and interms of their talent and that both are evenly matched on clay... most of them have the talent to be in the top-20 of tennis in future

Which proves nothing.
well...proves that he will not win the french again, proves that he is at the fag end of a great career, proves that he is no longer the force he has been on the atp circuit....

These facts were already known

well...proves that he will not win the french again
This was almost a certainty though a Sampras like cameo performance in the US could not have been discounted.

It proves that I was right to question 66-1 as being a good price.

So Agassi goes in the first round.

Was he carrying a niggle into the Tournament?
From what I saw, he struggled to beat Nieminen in the three sets he was fit (Nieminen led 5-4 and had two serves in the tie-break for the third set), and evidently the match got to him. Must have been a recurring injury, because he didn't bother to call a physio.

agassi, however great a player he is, is not sampras and will never be...and even if the draw in a grand slam opens up for him with a few upsets and/or injuries, any "cameo" effort from him is least likely to be at roland garros which is his weakest surface...

Haas wins again :D 6-4 6-3 over spadea before he retired. Tommy was down a break in each set but fought back well and won. not sure what happened to Spadea, but i dont care.
he will next play 12th seed Nicolay Davydenko who just beat Oliver Rochus in 4 sets. bring it on!!!

no he lost to Luis Horna...

roddick losing was predictable, i was the only one who tipped him to lose in our tipping comp, so its helped me out...

I dont understand why Roddick is rated so high, haven't watched him recently, but apart from his powerful serve he doesn't have much of a game and that's why he doesn't stand much chance against players like Federer, Safin etc. Besides he is never comfortable on Clay.

And same is true for Sampras as well.
what do you mean? i obviously meant that agassi is clearly not as good a player as sampras and just because sampras was capable of a grand final hurrah doesn't mean that agassi is also capable of one, also if he manages to win another grand slam, it will most likely be not at the french....
