Cricket, Lovely Cricket
I really wanted Federer to win French. Good to see Nadal win it though Puerta played well in the final.. some thing not many people would have expected.

Come on Roger.. win Wimbledon 3 in a row!!

Emulate Sampras and Becker for 3 consecutive and Wimbledon!!!!

YAY! Wimbeldon time again. Gotta love the only slam on grass - although it is played by mainly baseliners now anyway.

Federer should win again, will get tough competition from the usual suspects in Hewitt, Roddick and Grosjean.

Federer still has a long long way to go until he takes can say hes emulated Sampras' feats at wimbledon.

Well if some of the the Stella play I saw is anything to go by, there were actually a good number of decent rallies.

draw has been done, Hewitt and Federer on the same half and look set to meet in the semis, im very happy with Haas' draw has a few winable games before a possible meeting with clay court specialist Canas. I think there could be a surprise semi finalist from that quarter of the draw.

my semi finalists
Federer vs Hewitt
Haas/Gasquet vs Roddick/Grosjean

yep another 6 or so years to even get close
if he continues in the same dominant vein for the next 6 years, he would have a chance to overtake sampras...ie his record at wimbledon...

If federer plays to his best he will win, but safin can overcome him if federer is a bit off. They're gamer in Halle was one of the best grass court matches i've ever seen, they are ahead of everyone else in terms of pure talent. On grass federer has a mental hold over safin though unlike hard court. In the womens game Henin Hardenne must be a favourite unless one of the big servers starts peforming.

consistent power play does have an advantage over court craft on a fast surface like grass...so she probably won't have it as easy as at the french, but she is still well capable of winning it having reached the finals once...
