FMD this has to be the most open Slam in years, from a punditry POV. You've got two ATGS who are both past their best and fighting Father Time, and the top two blokes in the world who have recently dominated both out early while one of the best big tourney players in Stanimal is still there. Genuinely a really interesting tourney this one.

Raonic is the only real threat for Rafa in that half of the draw.

It could well be a Federer-Nadal final and we all know how those tend to go.

It brilliant, like an old school Aussie open with all the shocks.

My all-time favourite upset tournament was the Wimbledon that Richard Krajicek won. We had Malavai Washington, Jason Stoltenberg and Todd Martin as the other semi finalists. Was crazy, so many world class players got knocked out in the first round from memory.

This has been really exciting but 7 of the 8 quarter finalists are ranked in the top 17.

For someone ranked so high, Monfils miss-hits an awful high number of shots. Still, so fun to watch.

Monfils is the pakistan of tennis, some brilliant tennis mixed with mind numbingly careless tennis. Makes so many unforced errors and double faults. Nadal looks pretty vulnerable imo, not really in full form.

Would like to see Stan in the final..sometimes it's good to be at work so you don't witness certain matches .

Stan's become so consistent at the Majors. It's hard to explain why he becomes just a regular Joe at the other tour events. This is where Murray has a clear edge over him.

Oh man, looks like this is going to be brutal for Zverev. Federer just does not give these type of guys an inch. Couldn't see him losing even if he had to go out there with a walking stick.

Apparently he double-bageled him in 39 minutes last time they met.

Yeah Federer is brutal against serve and volleyers, not sure why murray struggled against zverev so much
