Same thing was said last year tbf when Novak was down and out and he came back to take it deep into the 5th.That's the game.

Harsh tbh. The circumstances were just so extreme in regards to what it meant to each of them and the draining nature of weather that they were never going to be at their optimum level. Clay court season is always a bit predictable. Out of the last 20 clay court grand slams or 1000 events 18 have been won by Rafa or Novak. Wimbledon could potentially be won by anyone, as it's probably Rafa and Novak's poorest service. The likes of Berdych and Raonic will have a better chance but whether they can go that extra yard is debatable. Rafa and Novak are just that bit better than everyone else.Meh, pretty poor stuff TBH. Woman's final was much better. The photoshoot also probably won't be improved.
These two are great champions but their level has dropped from a couple of years ago. Hope that someone can do a "Stan" at Wimbledon, preferrably someone a bit younger and fresher. Hard to see who though?
Heat affected it. If Rafa is wearing an ice pack it must have been bad. Which surprises me since it was only 25 degrees (I know its hotter on court though). Perhaps the humidity was very high.Meh, pretty poor stuff TBH. Woman's final was much better. The photoshoot also probably won't be improved.
A welcome change after the ridiculous contrast in the Serena and Rafa semi's last year as well. For a tournament with equal pay, its to be expected that the women's final is occasionally better. I mean FFS, I heard it was the First time in around 12 years that the Women's French Open has gone 3 sets. I love the transition from clay to grass though, best time of the tennis year.

Masha-Vika was pretty good last year though in the semis. In the end it's hard to argue that the Mens hasn't been super-super competitive over the last 10 years.A welcome change after the ridiculous contrast in the Serena and Rafa semi's last year as well.
