Should be a good final. Novak surely has a point to prove after Fed bashed him up at Wimbledon.

Did anyone see the first set? Had to go to bed but record it. Sounds ridiculous.

Good on Fed, surely favourite for the US Open now. Number 1 seed, has made Novak his bitch lately, and even with the gold medal loss to Murray, he'd still go in favourite in a GS semi or final against him.

Will be tough to beat.

Honestly don't understand why so many flogs don't like him.

Yeah he lost his cool in the final in Melbourne a few years back, but he was impeccable before and has been an awesome character since.

I'm hearing he's just pulling out of the match with Tomic... or has he already flagged that this will be his last tournament? I guess if the injury is bad enough it would force him into retirement.

Edit: nope SEN radio got it horribly wrong. They said he was pulling out of his Tomic match, but is actually retiring after the US Open.

I didn't realise he was pulling out against Tomic, but he's now confirmed this is his final tournament. :(
