Roddick in his token "I'm angry because I'm losing so I'll yell at the umpire to vent."

Still love him (giving so much to charity for the flood relief in Brisbane, WAFG), but he can be a massive dick on the court sometimes.

I mean fair enough Roddick is worried about the wet court, and doesn't want to be injured before the Australian Open, but he needs to relax.

Good hit out for Del Potro. Lopez smashed him last year in his return, so it is a good comeback. Still don't think he'll be relevant til the clay season, though.

Young NZer Michael Venus put up a hell of a fight against Robredo today. Admittedly Robredo isn't the player he once was, but for a player outside the top 300 to win a set against him is a big effort.

He's baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!

WAFG! Saved match point.

The Sydney pack this year is weak. Hopefully he can make it to the final. Please do it, I need to see this man live!

Am I right in saying the G00ch and L00ch are in the Sydney singles draw?

Edit: Nope, just the G00ch.

G00ch > L00ch

Nah ****.

The L00ch was in qualifying, I guess that means he lost and isn't in the main draw?

Watched him beat some **** at the Medibank last year. Was epic.

Great performance, but seemed to fall apart in the third. Not too surprising.

Don't know much about Venus, but I remember he won a Challenger last year beating some good players as a qualifier. If he's not too old, a good prospect.

EDIT: Haha, not quite. Made the final, with his biggest scalp being Jan Minar.

Either that's a terribly fitting outfit or he's grown very fat in the past year or so.

In other news, WTA World No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki has lost 6-0, 6-1 to Zvonareva and 6-3, 6-3 to Cibulkova in two lead-up tournaments.

Women's tennis.

Haha.

Epic match so far between Nalbandian and Fabio Fognini - Nalbandian took the first set 7-6, and the second is on serve at 4-3. Every game in the second set so far has gone to deuce.

EDIT: But after I said that, Nalbandian ended it quite quickly - 6-4 in the second.

I got to see both he and David Ferrer today. Both were all class. Ferrer took two and a half hours to win, but that was mostly because of an awesome performance from Kamke. Nalbandian hardly broke a sweat in his match.

But I was a bit disappointed that I didn't get to see Isner. His match was originally scheduled to be the first of the day session, but it got bumped into the evening session for no apparent reason.

Del Potro :(

****ing **** tournament this Sydney 250. How can Australia's biggest city get so few stars?

Gasquet or Gulbis better make the final.
