Agreed. :)

I'm sure the statisticians will be working overtime if Henin wins her semi final to find the last time that a wildcard player made the final in back-to-back Grand Slams - if its happened before at all?
Almost certainly never.

Firstly, Henin's fight back in the 2nd set vs Petrova was awesome.

Secondly, Marin Cilic you legend!!!!!!

Thirdly, Nadal vs. Murray is already match of the tournament. And it's 2-2 in the first set. Such ****ing awesome tennis. I get the feeling these two are having a bit of gamesmanship between each other right now.

Well, I can't say that Nadal's retirement surprises me too much, but it takes the edge off a very good performance by Murray.

Awesome work Murray! I only got 1 from 4 from the matches today. :(

Good on Zheng for making the semi final. I must admit I had never heard of her before this tournament had started. She has has done so well since her first set in the first round where she lost 6-0.

I didn't get the opportunity to watch her today, but she have any chance against Henin?

There were some great rallies in that match.

I find it a bit odd that Nadal is going through arguably a worse rut than Federer suffered in 2008 and yet he's not getting that much flack for it.

AWTA. Everyone and his dog was barking at Federer when he was suffering his illness that hampered his play so bad in 2008 but I think Rafa kinda escapes that flak because his degenerative knee condition is more obvious to the critics that injury is a more valid excuse in his case.

TBF to Nadal he's conducted himself with a bit more dignity too. Always loved Fed as a player but his public blub after last year's Oz Open was unworthy of him.

Was the QF the first time Nadal's quit in a GS, btw? Can't recall an occasion before so he musta been in a bad way.

I don't ever recall Nadal retiring hurt.

Anyway Nadal's rut since the French Open was clearly down to his knees, which linked to lower confidence. He looked much better at the start of this year but he's obviously still struggling. Horrible signs.

They measured his speed of shot in November last year and it was like 4-6km/h slower than at the beginning of 2009 when he was dominating.

Domination. Loving it.

If Serena can get past Azarenka I'll have backed 3 of the 4 semi-finalists to win the tournament :D

His knee was hurting in the second set, but when has losing to Murray, the 4th best player in the world, been such a big thing.

The **** hit the fan for Federer when he started losing to Simon, Mardy Fish, Wawrinka etc.
