Safina and Kuznetsova have shared clay court titles over their last 2 tournaments (straight set wins each), so it'll be interesting to see how the big one goes.

Managed to get a day off work today and will be watching both of the mens semis...hoping for some good tennis...not really bothered as to who wins tbh,bit of a neutral stance really....

I'm neutral for Gonzalez-Soderling. Hoping for a good match there.

Would obviously like Del Potro to beat Federer, but I can see a repeat of Melbourne happening.

Yep, and it won't just be a repeat of Melbourne. Federer is 12 sets to 0 over Del Potro. It happens every time, including most recently at Madrid :(

I just hope Del Potro goes into this with nothing to lose. The problem is, Del Potro isn't an unpredictable player like a Monfils or Tsonga. He is very very very good, but incredibly consistent. Federer will no what's coming, and if he plays his same-style, I fear a rout as well.

Reckon Federer's danger match was Monfils (other than Haas obviously). He got through easily, and now is looking good for the Slam.

Even people that arent big Federer fans surely want to see him get up in this tournament? I know I do which is why I was overly upset with him beating Haas.

Yeah I want the Fed express to win (though won't mind if Del Potro beats him today). I don't want a walkover semi-final though. I like Del Potro, and want him to put in a good effort.

Soderling takes first set ... beginning to think a Federer-Soderling final would be good...
