Muzza has beaten Tipsy and Kriogy in consecutive days to reach the final in Stuttgart. It's a bit fanciful to think he could be a contender at Wimbledon, but he could probably trouble any of the top players on a given day.

If Wimbledon was changed to best of three then he could do very well,,but his body can't handle 2 weeks of best of 5. He always makes hard work of the opponents he plays early especially as since the ranking has fallen the standard of opponent he has faced has been sharp.
Your man Berrettini also having a real nice week.
Saba and Medvedev also look like they are going to win their events setting them up nicely for Wimbledon 2023.

Apropos of nothing, but I flew over Paris yesterday and saw the full Roland Garros including the center court.

the old colosseum-like RG center court is really a marvel especially when you walk around the ground.
Should go back and see what they've done with it now I wonder if their expansion plans ran into Paris politics

Peaking perfectly for 13 months time whoops.
Nice win for Berrettini this week, big ask to go as close at Wimbledon as he did 12 months ago, but got a perfect game for grass.
Murray looks injured again sadly, assume he cancels Queens and focuses on Wimbledon, but his body won't allow him to go deep in any slam unfortunately .

It's looking like Djoko could be heading out of the top 16. He'll lose his points for winning Wimbledon last year barring an unlikely act of common sense from the ATP and as things stand he won't be allowed to play in the US Open or any of the other hard court tournaments in America due to being an unvaccinated foreigner, so a load more points down the kermit.
he won't gain points at wimbledon but then none of the players will...so why would that affect djokovic more than anyone else? as the defending champ, in a normal scenario he will lose points if he doesn't repeat this year so doesn't this actually take that risk out of the equation and protect his ranking regardless of the results?

Considering the winner gets 2000 points and the most anyone else gets is 1200 he clearly has more to lose than anyone else. This combined with the US Open, which is what my post did before it was cut into bits, risks him dropping out of the top 16.
