Surprised to see that Ravi and Ravi are getting a good grip on the ball with the rains coming down. Thought that spinners would have found it harder.

Rain better not ruin this, its shaping up to be a good contest. Would probably favour us if overs are reduced considerably and we're 5 ahead of D/L - shouldn't last long though.

So if the match ended now and England were awarded the game, who do you all think would get MOTM? Jadeja anyway? Jimmeh?

Would have to be Jadeja really.

Case to be made for Kieswetter as well if the match ended now, the rest of the batsmen have contributed 41 from 74 balls so his 51 from 46 turns out to be a matchwinning one.

Still only need 4.6 rpo with 7 wickets left, still fancy us to win but should be a good finish, England just need these 2 to calm the situation down, especially with only Ravi to come and Bresnan to a certain degree, the 3 main batsmen need to do most of the work though.
It's always been difficult to chase under light at the Oval for exactly the reasons we're seeing here.

I suppose we wouldn't even have a match without Jadeja's contribution, fwiw.

As I haven't seen a single delivery, what happened earlier? Brilliant fightback by India's lower middle order, or England letting them off the hook?

There's also a Cook, a Bell and a Swann but none of those are marauding the pitch. ;)
Looks like it's Bell's destiny to remain hanging for a while.

This rainbreak could be a good time to check the highlights of how the Roos have been doing against the Lankans. Brb!

WTF? Watson, you idiot!!!

Bit of both, especially the death bowling where they went at 11 rpo in the PP.

Dhoni and Jadeja did well against some good bowling to pull it back and build a partnership but Cook took his foot off the pedal with the field set for no logical reason which was a chief factor in allowing that, then the bowlers lost the plot towards the end against Ashwin.
