Nah disagree with Pickup. This summer has been wetter and colder than normal.

Had some really hot days but no prolonged spell. At the same time there hasn't been excessive amounts of rain for weeks on end like the last time India were here.
Last 2 weeks of July were about as settled and gloriously hot in Britain as you'll get.

Last 2 weeks of July were about as settled and gloriously hot in Britain as you'll get.
Still plenty of rain intermingled with the warm weather though. Lord's Test springs to mond, and first day at Trent Bridge.
