Why not Martyn? He won't last until the next world cup. Get him out now, and get someone new in there. As I said maybe not for the super series, but for the upcoming Australian summer.
i'd say its touch & go whether he'll make it to the WC i wont write him off just yet.

He won't. He's not really needed in the one day make up anymore. He was a great player in his prime. There are just far too many guys pushing for inclusion in the one day side now. Time to look towards the next World Cup.

What!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, I have to assume that it is a joke, because there is no way Ferguson would make the side, especially a Super Series test match side. And Haddin as keeper? Haven't we raised the bar low enough allowing Gilchrist to keep, but to have Haddin as a specialist keeper, it just gets worse.

Fergusson is ready he is a great player in a stuggling side if he had been a new south welshman or a westralian then he would easily be averaging 45+ but cause he and lehman and blewett have had to carry south ausrtralia last year he had a only a decent season and dont say i hate south ausstralia cause i lie there and go to practitly every game. also gilchrist is a awesome keeper but i would pick him as a specialist bats man which he should be at his age and haddin is more than capable of steeping up to the plate

I'm still trying to understand what you're trying to say here because without punctuation and capitals - it makes it difficult!

Fergusson may very well be a future prospect, but from what I've seen of him he's nowhere near ready. A game at the 'Gabba earlier this year, he was looking fine, but Maher brought Bichel & Dawes on to bounce him out, and it only took 2 overs and he was gone. The same happened to Cosgrove in a one day game the season before. As soon as he came in, Maher told Kaspa not to bowl anything on the off side and drop it short, it took a total of 4 balls and he was gone.

There is no way that Fergusson is ahead of Hodge, Watson & Symonds.

Hodge is overated and Symonds has been tried and tested. I wanted a specialist batsman.
Symonds tried and tested? Please....2 test matches.

I'll agree with you that Hodge is over-rated, and I would rather see anyone else in the side, but he is next in the pecking order.

Now there is someone who was tried and tested. He has about as much chance of playing for Australia again as I do of playing a test match for Australia.

The only way Beven would play would be if the Australian team were all to die in a plane crash or a bomb blast.

Because he is older than most of the players in the current Australian side, and everyone is focusing on Australia looking to the future, Bevan IS NOT the future.

Virat Kohli (c)
Yeah its all but certain that Sachin won't play in either the ODIs or the Super Test. There's no way his elbow is ready, and its in his best interests, and the ROW team, for him to opt out I reckon. Unfortunate really because if I were to ever see Lara and Tendulkar out there batting together I think I'd cry tears of joy. Oh well.

the matter that hoggard bowled was full into his pads which got him LBW a few times & if that didn't work he would give smith a full one which smith would foolishly go after (on the basis of thinking his off-stump was a lot closer) & was caught in the slips a few times, i dont see why McGrath & more so Lee cant bowl to him like that.......
Because of the swing he employed?

"More so Lee" - that's optimistic seeing how little he pitched it up in the Ashes.
