Is that the mcg test? We won that. Its still Jadejas best innings imo. Was tough conditions against an atg quality attack and his partnership with rahane won us the game.

Other incredibly clutch Jadeja 50s:

- 63 at Dharamshala vs Australia 2017. Series winning partnership with Saha in a very dicey situation

- 90 vs England, Mohali test 2016. Rescued India from 200-6 trailing England by 80

- 86 vs England, oval 2018. In a losing cause but took India almost singlehandedly from 160-6 to almost parity in the first innings.

58 vs WI, 2019. Took India from 200-7 to almost 300.

He deserves more easy htb runs to pump up that average imo.

Jadeja is rightly being praised for his transformation but he is one of the longest investments in Indian cricket so far. Playing since 2009 now. He is supreme athlete & should easily play for further 4-5 years easily. But with Ash on his last legs we need to groom someone else as well.
Hopefully Sundar & Axar will be the guys.
Sundar was instrumental with the bat in that series win vs England at home with the bat. Can't forget how well he played in the final test. Dude got robbed of at least 2 easy tons in the series. At 21 years of age this was serious. His injury list is so frustrating that we have to play a journeyman guy in Jayant now.

Great review and wicket for India, partnership was getting troublesome. Thought it would've gone over but nope.
