Do we know how serious the injury is? After watching Parnell and Phehlukwayo here, South Africa need Ngidi for the ODIs.
According to his twitter he is in good spirits and can't wait for the ODI series to start. It didn't look to serious so all probably precautionary.

Don`t think it`s a serious injury, fell hard on his hip then continued fielding for awhile then went off. Think it may have just been precautionary. I`m not to worried about Phelukwayo as he has only just come back from an injury lay off... Parnell needs to go now in all formats. I know he has done well domestically but he obviously just does not have the mental edge internationally, he sprays it often and is taken off his length to easily by quality batsmen. I would expect for Pretorius/Morris to get a game in front of Ngidi anyway. Unless they can play Ngidi and drop Parnell instead :)
The biggest problem with Wayne is that he doesn't seem to have a plan. He runs in and bowls and at this level that's not good enough. Even Phehlukwayo seems to have a plan when he bowls.

Disappointing and not sure why they had Ngidi fielding there in the first place. A 6’5 quick fielding at point is pretty unusual.

Surprising to see all 3 of Morris, Parnell and phehlukwayo in the playing 11 with Rabada being the only genuine fast bowler in the side.

Would have liked to see Pretorious in for Parnell or Phehlukwayo... but pretty much full strength.

Typical PE pitch will grip and be slightly 2 paced, suit the SL, probably a 270 pitch. Standard gusty PE weather, horrible, that will give everybody problems.

Morris is quick. He is back from a long term injury but use to be capable of bowling 145kph.

Strange timing with CSA telling Domingo he has to re-apply for the job if he wants to continue as coach, and the players don’t seem too happy with that going by AB’s comments. Surely would have been better for CSA to say to Domingo you have a contract which expires in the summer and we will talk after the England series.
