Sorry I disagree. There is absolutely not a single thing on the pitch that can put doubts in the batsmen's mind. This pitch is perhaps the flattest thing I've seen in a while, and it is no way good for test cricket.

The pitch will become slower and lower as the days progress. I feel, Sri Lankans have already done 50% work needed for a win. A total of 550+ on this pitch can pressurise Pakistanis into committing mistakes.
There's definite turn and bounce for Kaneria today.

Kaneria is one bowler who can get turn and bounce on any track his lack of drift and a proper bowling plan hurts him the msot.
First time in a while I've seen Danish turn his leg-breaks. Against South Africa he bowled flat leg-breaks and overdid the googly.

Why are Sri Lanka not declaring now, 600 should be more than enough for them, if Mendis and Murali bowl well, then they might not need to bat again in this game.

You mean, this is only the second time you have really seen Kaneria bowl, because he can get his leggie to turn alright, it his poor accuracy and lack of drift, that is the problem.

I said in a while. I saw Kaneria bowl against South Africa, what 14+ months ago and he bowled flat leg-breaks. I saw Kaneria bowl 3+ years ago against England and bowl well (with a different action...). Accuracy this game apart has usually been good. I remember him bowling a ****load of overs against Aus and not being taken or hit...

Yep, even in this game his accuracy was alright for most of yesterday. Taking no wickets makes him look expensive.

Kaneria's accuracy is fine. He just bowls without a plan or any variation in flight.
This.
