That was great. I decided to stop off in Shadows bar on the way home to see the score, noticed Vincent was 194* and ended up staying for half an hour. Looks like Wiseman did another nice little cameo at the end too.

Since when has a team had more authority on the umpires who officiate than the ICC?

When Teams make complaints about crap umpiring or decisions that go totally against their Team by prejudicial (please note I did not use the word racist) umpiring. the Fat Cats at the ICC like Malcolm Speed who appoint and promote their poor quality umpires or umpiring have to take note. Particularly if stats and Teams complaints point to certain individuals only !!

That aside there is history between Darrell (cheaty) Hair and Sri Lanka as is well known and generally ICC have ensured Cheaty Hair is not officiating when SL are playing !!

I expected Darrell (C****) Hair to give Atapattu out inside edge or not when he got rapped on the pads !!

On a side note it looks like Prasanna has fond his feet as a batsmen (Scorecard) looks like a pretty good innings for Sri Lanka A. It also nice to Mubrak gets some runs but once again he fails to get a century, the story of his Sri Lanka A Career to data, a lot of 50s not enough centuries. Suraj continues to get wickets for Sri Lanka A, a good 6-fer, if he gets another bag in the second innings then he could seriously come into Test calculations. Dilhara also playing this game so that pretty much means he is fit to play India in the ODI series.

When we were 6 down, I thought srilanka were back in it but no, lou vincent played a great knock.

Tim, surely you can't drop vincent after this? not only this but I thought he looked comfortable vs Australia as well.

If I had it my way, Cumming would be dropped from the 11, Astle would open. leaving place for both Styris and vincent as I rate them both highly, but I can't see bracewell having the brains to open with astle. So if they are going to have the same openers, then Astle should be out rather than vincent, away from from home in Southafrica I'd back both vincent and styris to score more runs for us.

Really We should win in Zimbabwe either way so its all about the southafrican series.

Styris will definately get priority over Vincent when he returns from injury. Styris will however, be under huge pressure to score runs straight away.

As far as I can see, there is very little between the Teams (as they are in the last 2 Tests) but one big factor (or make it two) has changed this Test one sided while preventing a result in the previous Test !!
