Went to 2015 world cup match at caketin, nz v Eng.

Dint know if there was less music, or maybe even no music, as it was an ICC event rather than an NZC concert. But it was so good. Tim Southee was bowling that killer spell and I was sitting at the thirdman or fineleg boundary. And the cheer/applause he would get from the crowd near his fielding position as he returned each over was great, really nostalgic.
I was at that game too. At a certain point during that spell, the crowd started chanting Southee's name, just like they used to with Hadlee in the old days and the atmosphere was absolutely electric. One of my favourite experiences at a cricket match.

Music between balls is only a T20 thing that I can tell, definitely have to be more strategic about seating positions especially at grounds like Hagley when the speakers are basically head height when you are sitting on the bank.

Sounds like Santner himself makes the call on who does and doesn’t play. I would have thought the decision would be taken at a higher level to ensure the priorities of NZC and the selectors are met. Presumably Jacobs was selected by the selectors for a reason. Santner talks about “rewarding the guys that have performed so far” but I haven’t seen much performance out of Rachin so should he be ‘rewarded’ or could we perhaps take a look at another member of the squad and get a gauge on how they perform at this level?

"Straight up.....and Mitch Hay has caught it!
"Oh, goodness me...that's gone straight up into the grill".
Scotty catches the 'straight up' bug.

New Zealand rocking it in the field, if by rocking you mean dropping catches all afternoon. Back to test one against England, and questions raised about Kiwi fielding coaches. Not acceptable in this day and age I would have thought.

Lanka taking full tool, 200 on from here.

Going to be a good test for our batting lineup today.
foulkes will be good for the experience this year, def needs to work on a few things, intl cricket is a different beast
Yeah has tools but meme inswing not enough by itself for international batters. Needs to improve accuracy.
