What do we think draw odds should be fellas? Its floating between $6-$6.5 right now. SL win took a hammering with that wicket and the rain - out to $22.

Isn't it still supposed to rain? Draw looks good odds to me if there's still a chance of that but I can never be ****ed looking up weather reports. ****test thing to get let down on with a bet.

Forecast for tomorrow is better than it was for today: high cloud and occasional showers.

Yeah, Baz has been vindicated by the rain. Nonetheless, NZ would've lost nothing by slapping another 30 or 40 runs before lunch.
you don't know that yet though (unless you mean NZ should have batted quicker rather than batted longer?)

I think they're starting early tomorrow. Probably need an interrupted day to prevent a NZ win.

Lunch was like 1.2 overs of us bowling because it was called early due to rain. If we batted till the rain came we would have got those extra runs.

Yeah I get stuck into captains for declaring early all the time but when you've got genuine reasons to worry about the weather then it's fair enough I think. Not real issues with this one, so I found it interesting that the comms had a long discussion about it while Nine barely mentioned Smith's declaration after it happened. People will tend to have firmer opinions on second innings declarations I guess, but still.

If we get two of them in the morning session we are on track. The final wicket of the day was all class. Before Tim bowled it I made a comment to myself that the line and length would be automatically more probing than when bracewell had bowled. And then sure enough a wicket first ball. It is a farce that tim's average is over 30.

I'd like to apologise to this test match and also to Neil Wagner. Sorry to both of you. I make no apologies to the pitch or to DRS.

I've had to apologise to Wagner a few times. Actually most of us have.

As far as I'm concerned he shouldn't leave the team until Milne is ready.
