Imagine if they played a five Test series every second year, the home team won every time and you felt obliged to get hyped up for it every year anyway. What a fresh hell that would be...

Considering Eng were favs here in Aus, and Aus were favs in Eng, I'd say we could make a lot of money from this fresh hell.

To be fair I did make a lot of money on those series :laugh:

Would've made even more if England had managed to win 3-1 this year; that series scoreline was paying ridiculous overs. Early-celebrating bastards...

At least with the ashes it's two teams of complete assholes who hate each other, so there's always controversy.

NZ and SL are such nice guys it would be so boring.

England were really slight favourites IIRC.
Yeah did a search, think Australia shortened up a few days before hand, but England would have been favorites for a while leading up to it at least.

Definitely were strong favorites after the first day when they dominated Australia:ph34r:
