I think we are playing very well but I'd like us to not have peaked so soon. Cricket is very much a momentum game and I'd rather we didn't run out of steam half way through the world cup.

Sri Lanka aren't the same without Malinga to keep the death over scoring down to 6 rpo. I reckon that unless he somehow bounces back into full fitness and form SRL will come 4th in their pool in the world cup.

It wasn't easy the other day - it was 90/5 after 20 overs and hard going. Then we got out of a hell of a hole thanks to a great partnership - test passed.

Sri Lanka have had some really good moments in this series. But yes, are they poorer than we think, or are we better than we think? We'll only know once we play the likes of Sth Africa and Australia probably. I would think though that Sri Lanka have had an ideal build up to the World Cup, even if it's not going ever so well for them at the moment. Add Malinga and Mathews to this team, and things change quite a bit.

No one ever complained about those great Aussie sides peaking too soon. If you're good enough, you're good enough all the time.

I think these wins are result of the high standards McCullum and Hesson have instilled - do your best at all times.

I do wonder now about Guptill. If they keep playing him thinking "he'll play himself into form", what happens if he just ends up digging a bigger hole for himself, and his confidence drops even more?
