Do you really think Maharoof has the ability to run through England like Fernando is doing at the moment, and who would you rather face, Malinga or Maharoof?
Yes i think he could contain England (A), which is as important taking wickets in ODIs, also he averages 26 in ODIs, not 56.a massive zebra said:Do you really think Maharoof has the ability to run through England like Fernando is doing at the moment, and who would you rather face, Malinga or Maharoof?

well England had no choice due to the injuries..marc71178 said:Is it me or do we appear to have gone back to the bad old days of picking bits and pieces players from 6 through to 8 or 9?
The worrying thing is that Flunkett has now played 5 Tests though...aussie said:well England had no choice due to the injuries..
how, its not as if he isn't showing signs of improvement.marc71178 said:The worrying thing is that Flunkett has now played 5 Tests though...
In English conditions bowlers who can bowl very fast ie Malinga, Dilhara can do better than Maharoof , who is essentially becoming restricted to a special category ie "Subcontinental ODI allrounder" .chaminda_00 said:Thats why Kapu in the side, but its going to be a couple seasons until he regularly performs at international level. Maharoof can also play a similar role and i can't understand why Malinga and Fernando are in the side infront of him.
I expected him to bowl just 5-6 overs of 30+runs and a wicket or two to show for, but he has impressed me by bowling well. I think the English conditions suit him even in ODIs.chaminda_00 said:What is going on with Malinga is he learning how to ball line and length, or are these English just that crap.
Do you ever give Credit to SL ? How exactly was England a depleted side ?JASON said:This was a depleted England side and SL cannot take too much credit from this win.
