Flintoff did a good job in India, but the job's too much for him here, 0&1 is not what we come to expect from our superstar, nor has he generally bowled as well as we've come to expect. I hope we have a fully fit and fighting Freddie Flintoff (alliteration overload!) agaisnt Pakistan, I'd go as far to completely rest him for the ODIs, Strauss captain the side for all five, if he does a good job and Vaughan can't return against Pakistan then we know Strauss can do the job.

Really? Like I said earlier, I don't see Cook being definitely ahead of him, especially given the difference in fielding. Maybe it's a 50/50 call.
