Bell's just been stumped.

I should have jumped on SL when their odds went out to 1.70, but I decided to wait due to the dead rubber factor, and only got on when they were 1.35. With Bell out that's gonna fly down now.

34.2 Bandara to Solanki, OUT, and that was the shot of a drunk at closing time. Came down the pitch for the big heave, missed it, and a more orthodox stumping for Sangakkara with not a hint of chin.
VS Solanki st Sangakkara b Bandara 10 (18b 0x4 0x6) sr: 55.55
   I think I'm falling in love with Jenny Thompson, this Cricinfo lady. She's hilarious. :D

38.5 Jayasuriya to Jones, FOUR, the corpse twitches as Jones drives the ball hard and high over extra cover. Four or five of those an over and we have a contest …
38.2 Jayasuriya to Jones, SIX, big swing to leg high to deep midwicket where Malinga on the rope could not cling on … even had he held it, he would have been on the line. The first boundary since the UK had a Conservative government ... so it seems

I do like this commentary.

Jenny Thompson said:
two runs, but a misfield opens the opportunity for a third. Sadly, only Bresnan sees it and by the time he realises that Dalrymple is impersonating a limpet, he’s stranded and Sangakkara gently lobs the ball into the stumps

47.2 Fernando to Ali, OUT, Kabir Ali pushes into the off, Fernando scurries across, picks up, turns and throws down the stumps with Ali not even in the frame Ali trudges off to contemplate a dismal day … 0 for 77 from 10 overs and a first-ball duck. He’s probably got a parking ticket as well.

I'm confused as to who in our XI is a first-choice player, who's second-choice and so on - so here's my attempt at drawing up some ODI XIs and working out who's in contention.

England Senior XI
Trescothick
Strauss
Vaughan*
Pietersen
Flintoff
Collingwood
G Jones+
Giles
S Jones
Harmison
Anderson

England 'A' XI
Cook
Joyce
Bell
Solanki*
Shah
Dalrymple
Read+
Blackwell
Bresnan
Plunkett
Mahmood

England 'B' XI
Prior+
Benning
Yardy
Sales
Bopara
Clarke
Loudon
Chapple
Lewis*
Broad
Tremlett

England 'C' XI
Wood
Carberry
Key*
Hildreth
Muchall
Swann
Davies+
Wright
Wharf
Gough
T Smith

I've probably forgotten someone somewhere. There's a distinct lack of batting talent around by the looks of things...
