Poor judgement or desperation?

SRL maybe starting to not look forward to a (weather allowing) tricky 60 overs tomorrow.

Based on the ridiculously poor bowling performance at the moment I'm quite surprised that the lead is only 50 odd.

It's been sedate progress today, was rather hoping for more urgency from us in an attempt to try and force a result, regardless of how unlikely that may be. However, having seen tomorrow's forecast it currently all looks immaterial anyway.

We have been treated to another exhibition of Test match batting from Jon Trott, whose record as it stands is unbelievable. His timing has been fantastic, could he have scored his runs at a quicker rate ? Maybe he could have moved through the gears more, but it is very hard to find fault with a player that has just brought up his double ton.

I am pleased for Ian Bell again showing what a class act he is, has reverted to the odd reverse sweep to move the rate along and has been the more proactive of the two, another top class partnership.

Bit of a OTT celebration from Dilshan, under normal circumstances, I feel Trott would have played a defensive shot to that, but seen as they're playing a few more shots, he does something a bit different and gets bowled.

Morgan showing his intent after just four balls. Tried a couple of reverse sweeps, has skipped down the pitch, and also rocked back to cut the ball to the sweeper on the off side. Maybe instructions given to him to hurry things.

get 150 infront and then have a go for 2 and half sessions,looks unlikely but then funny things have happened.
