Nasser's right, this pitch is like concrete, it just hasn't changed or deteriorated through the match. You would have thought, at the very least, it would offer the spinner something.

So, am I the only one who thinks England is missing reverse swing in this attack? Feels like this trio is too samey, they need someone like Shazhad or Bresnan IMO.

Or Anderson. Not dry enough, after all the rain I would have thought.
I agree with Atherton, that more thought, needs to be put into, where the test matches are played and I've said it many times, go to ground that gives you the best chance of winning. They won't, because they like to share the tests around.

Yeah. I guess looking back over the last ten years the perfect England attack (all fit) would be Hoggard, Anderson, Jones, Flintoff and Swann. Interesting question to pose.

That's a pretty dodgy decision.

Nah, it's another pointless Lord's track. Apart from the last session and a bit at Cardiff, this series has been completely neutered by the dead wickets that they've had to play on.
