Sri Lanka bringing their usual away game on tour again. Always makes for a less than compelling summer when they're around.

They beat us last time they were here. In one of the more exciting ends to a series in recent years.

Given us more of a game as a tourist than most Aussie sides of recent years. Maybe not this week but last tour for example.

Test Cricket in May in England, particularly at Headingley, is just a bad idea. The whole match was thoroughly predictable. (Except for Alex Hales passing 80.)

Time you get some new material Burgey, you can't even beat RTB in BOTM now.

That Pradeep dismissal though, I don't even think Phantom missed one by that much in his career.

I am so very disappointed in SL right now... the only cricket I can watch today is IPL...urhgg...

At least the French Open starts today.

Clouderson being in his element under clouds, what's new?:D
In others news, Freddie is retiring from Test Cricket, what a season Fernando Torres had for Liverpool, and will Gordon Brown do all he can in the next year to keep power in next year's election?

I like the look of League One champions Leicester. Could go far.

That doesn't make Burgey's post any less wrong.
Nah I stand by that comment. How many people look forward to a SL tour of their country to provide a thrilling cricketing contest? It's like expecting Australia to do well in India. It doesn't happen.

Yea but Sanga was playing then to make up for two other failures. SL batting is straight garbage now.
I think for Asian teams going to England at this time of the year it's imperative to play enough warm up games to acclimatize properly to the conditions. It's hard enough as it is with an inexperienced batting line up.
