Was going to mention how Sri Lanka must have a long as tail if Herath's coming in at 8. Eranga is better than him though, and wouldn't be a terrible 8, so not sure why they went with this order.

Still a long as tail though.

Edit: He's coming in off a 50 in the warm up, that's probably why. Haven't seen the bloke bat decently in years.

Yeah, that is more of a number 10 role though isn't it. You'd like a guy who can come off with a 50 every so often at 8. Moeen is obviously better than your average 8, but someone like a Starc/Broad/Morris that other teams have.

You're right, we would but tbh we simply don't have anyone like that and to be fair our team has always relied heavily on the top six producing runs but when the top three fall so quickly, it puts huge pressure on 4,5&6..
Our system is so old fashioned in the thought that bowlers aren't expected to contribute with the bat, just concentrate on bowling..things need to change..

No excuses, this bowling is simply too good for us..well bowled England..

Edit- come on someone slog us the 16 we need so at least we won't lose by an innings!!

Brute of a ball to Chameera ..I would suggest he barge broad as he goes past but I'm genuinely scared he may snap in half..

Great catch from the big man. Was there to hit, can't blame Chameera for not wanting to be a sitting duck.
