Herath batted really sensibly for 80-odd last tour IIRC. This was back when he was the most hilarious tailender in world cricket by several miles.

Graeme Smith, or if we're talking current players, Shiv.

"Get me leg before, I dare you."
Yeah I feel like since he's called it quits Smithy Jnr has taken on the Smith troll role. Only shot work off the hips or pull off the hips, and ****s just bowled there non-stop all summer. Also trolled the **** out of dickwad Bell.

It's great that both of these frames of mind can happen in the same innings or even, like today, the same over.
In an alternate universe a country is crying because they need the tail to bat half an hour to save a test and it's comprised of Herath, Zaheer and Southee.

This is truly woeful. Reminds me of all those nineties Ashes Tests when England would have a foot in the door and then Healy and Reiffel would put on 100 to put the match beyond them. It's as bad as that. I reckon the match has gone now as far as an England win is concerned. Rain is forecast tomorrow though, thankfully.

Jordan gives me that 90s vibe. I dont quite get what he does. Plunkett gives me a late 50s/60s vibe - strong, broad and sharp with an awkward action but the game seems to have moved on a little.
