(interestingly -the overs reduced by 1 to 49 overs - Can any whiz kid explain the logic of that one !! )

Thanks for that Mate.

You must be pleased with Bangladesh's bowling performance ! (Assumed you are from Bangladesh - Am I correct ? )

Looks like they are set for a great win 0/29 after 7 odd overs ATM.

banglas last six scoring shots have gone for 4! looks like theyre employing the block-block-smash style that Sehwag uses

They're doing well though, they realise they just need to bat sensibly and they are in with a real chance.

Good for you !! I was amazed to read that they had a full capacity of 13,000 people at the last game and had to turn away 5,000 people (who had tickets) from the ground .

Did you follow the U-19 World Cup too ?

Bangladesh did well finishing 5th , although I thought they could've done better .

BTW they were the only Team to beat Pakistan , the eventual winners !!

he was really unlucky there... a dodgy dicision
Does seem that way .

All they need to do is stay put without losing wickets. Because with such a low score any team that lasts over 40 overs would easily get there , without going for a crash bang wallop finish .:)

Indeed.

You'd like to think that if they can chase that target against Australia like they did, then this should be fairly simple, but who knows what the pressure of expecting to get a target will do to them?

I just saw the decision, pretty poor.

Fernando is bowling tripe as usual. That short stuff is being put away.

Omar is doing very well.

One of the strange things about the SL innings today to me was that they did not use Upul Tharanga (the Super Sub) despite the Team today having lot of bowling options !!

The major difference to this game compared to the one against Australia is that aganst the Aussies they werent really trying to win at the start. Just bat out the 50 overs and therefore didn't panic at the rising run rate. here the batsmen are trying to win and if they get bogged down they WILL panic and possibly throw wickets away... :(

Saleh just fell over that one. Damn it.

Anyway here comes Ashraful. Either way I'm going to enjoy this!

How are you watching it?

Or is it through a method that is best left unmentioned? :p

Can anyone explain to me why the cricinfo score card is showing the SL score at 32.0 overs ?

Sri Lanka 174/7 (32/49 ov)
Bangladesh 50/2 (14.0/49 ov) Bangladesh require another 163 runs with 8 wickets and 35.0 overs remaining

Drinks Sri Lanka RR: (5.44) 3.55
Bangladesh RR: 3.57
Required RR: 4.66

This match is being telecast live in India by Star sports, so thats how he must be watching it. Also, Bangladesh look set for a great win against Sri Lanka after bowling them out for 212. Lets hope they pull it off.

Hasib, nice to see you here. Its good to have a fan from Bangladesh here on as well. We had fans from all test teams, only the Bangladesh bit was missing and with you on here, thats complete as well. No offence to James90 and Jungle Jumbo, although they are diehard Bangladesh fans but then they dont happen to be Bangladeshis.
