Are you serious? Geez, talk about underestimating your own team.
It's just hard to see us taking 7 wickets for mine...Especially with Sanga in such good touch...They'll be incredibly determinded too...As I said, 3/4 of our bowlers bowled excellently today and could only get 3 wickets. So yeah...on a batsman's pitch you have to favour Lanka.

Let's not forget that Ponting and Tasmania chased down a large score in a short amount of time on a last day Bellerive pitch too....This was only a couple of weeks ago.

Prasanna Jayawardene can barely hold a bat, Farveez Maharoof is injured and then you have 3 genuine #11's. Once you get a wicket or two, then Lee or MacGill will wrap up the tail pretty easily.

Don't forget to add that the new ball isn't far away, and that Silva/Jayasuria are likely to get out to a loose shot at any time during their innings....

BARNES OUT
This is pathetic. SST is damned if he does, damned if he doesn't.

He was banned for being over-the-top pro-Australian (I still don't think he did anything worth a ban, other than make himself look like an idiot) and now when he's come back and isn't being OTT pro-Aussie you're all still being a bunch of ****ing gimps.

Just stfu all of you for christ's sake. He has a legitimate opinion.

Haha, **** off. We're allowed to disagree, and I think that anybody who is claiming Sri Lanka are favourites and are likely to win are a bit crazy.

Complete overreaction. Some people were just commenting that SST has gone completely full circle from OTT pro-Australian to OTT pessimistic about Australia's chances here. Don't think anyone was giving him crap for it and posts directed to him were either good natured comments or arguing in cricket terms. Think you've misread this or seeing things that aren't there tbh.

Wicket is concrete, spinner is bowling pure filth and Kumar likes big double hundreds. So I can't see what is particularly wrong in thinking Sri Lanka have more than a decent chance of winning. That being said when the new ball is taken that should be the end of Jaya one suspects, hopefully not though.

Haha yeah, love the ads. Funny one way or another.
I'll opt for the other. I thought the All Blacks appeared in too many ads, but by God, there's overkill in Australia. Those Wolf Blass ads are as cringeworthy as they come.

Meh. SL to fold for 350-odd in the lunch-tea session. Really hoped AUS would walk all over SL today.

India really needs every bit of complacency it can get for the Boxing Day match.

Brad Hodge is a fine speaker. Anyone seen him in the ads on Fox Sports?

New South Wales because they think that Sydney is better than Melbourne when in fact Melbourne is better than Sydney.

Doesn't pause at all.

Lee and Johnson will finish them off.

Lee and Johnson are bowling reverse swing.

But Sri Lanka's bowling attack is just far too weak. Hayden and Gilchrist absolutely went to town on their asses.

Why should it be the end of Jayasuriya with the new ball? He's an opening batsman, isn't he? I see what you mean though.

Anyone else think that Jayasuriya could be playing his last test innings here?

Fair play to Sri Lanka for batting well under pressure on Day 4, and Sangakkara as we know is a class act. However, to chase down 507 in a fourth innings would be a monumental effort, and one that I think is beyond Sri Lanka.

A couple of early wickets should end any feint hopes of a miraculous victory for Sri Lanka, I hope Sanga sticks around though, enjoy watching him bat.

Sangakarra at number 3 in the last two years:

1805 Runs @ 82.05 (excluding the ongoing test)
