I am not sure about that. But Wahab and Abbas aren't exactly test class fast bowlers either. And especially when the wicket will probably take spin towards day 4 or 5 then it makes sense to at least try another up and coming spinner

yes, at least from what little i saw of it. Dubai usually is flatter than Abu Dhabi especially in the first few days

A second spinner in neither test is absurd, if Ashgar can't get a game here, then why is in the squad? Some suggesting that Inzy and Mickey don't rate him,, then again why is in the squad? Odd.

Karunaratne has bounced back so well since the Aus series where his team all played out of their skin and he averaged like 7

Much maligned but Karunaratne will end 2017 as one of its leading run scorers. Currently the 4th highest run scorer of the year with plenty more innings to come.
Not holding much hope for Kaushal Silva to have a turnaround mind. Innings today was a typical one, sees off the new ball and still ends up getting out for not many.

We are heading to India in Nov for three tests,three Odi's and three t20's.
