Whats the thought on the board about the Sydney test? The claim was either bull**** bragging or truth, but god I just have so many doubts about that test.

Seems like PCB is taking Sun to the court of the Oval ODI...bad idea imo. Another shot in there own foot imo.

Yeah.
What are they going to base their case on? What charges are they going to bring against them?
The Sun received some information on what might possibly happen in said match and it then went on to happen. To top that they told the ICC before the match had started what they had been told so they didn't just make some numbers up after the event.
How they're going to prove that the Sun were printing lies is going to be impossible to prove due to the aforementioned details.

Well i wouldn't go as far as saying that Sun delivered "numbers" they only spoke about patterns in scoring. A good follower of the game can more or less estimate such things anyway. Plus ICC cleared the case. PCB wants to file charges of defamation for the reason that there were no concrete proofs based on which Sun wrote the story.
However, the reason i say PCB is shooting themselves in the foot is because of the on going issue with the trio....PCB is far from being cleared with that issue at hand and getting involved in this battle is useless and only will cost extra money and not get anywhere. Plus they are charged with spot fixing issue, basing a case on defamation is not quite going to cut it for the judges..
