South Africa inching towards victory require another 13 runs with 4 wickets and 18 balls remaining

Yuvraj Singh to Philander, FOUR, all over! Philander seals the deal in style, coming out of his crease and clobbering a nicely tossed up delivery down to long-off

Its finish..all over for India......Shameful

You say shameful but one more wicket and India likely win. It was a close game against a good team.

Considering Sreesanth, AA and Dhoni were all missing, decent work from India. RP Singh and Ganguly as the back-up seam options, along with Kallis' efficiency, killed us in the end. Chawla impresses yet again ... why didn't Tendulkar bowl?

Losing some random ODI in the last over without a few of their first line bowlers is hardly shameful. Particularly with a champion like Kallis playing like he did.

You're being a dick for the sake of it.

Good stuff from India to make a good game of it even with only 2 seamers in the team, Chawla impressed yet again but Indian fielding was below average today, all in all a decent performance by India considering they were struggling to field fit eleven players for this game.

Man a bit sad, but hopefully we can come back real strong in the next two ODIs and win this thing. I think we can tbh, especially once Dhoni/AA/Sree are fit.

Chawla impressed once again :).

Last over should not have been given to Yuvraj. Not at all a bad perfomance by India though. With Dhoni and Sreesanth fit we shall fire again soon.

with smith and pollock we could have fired even better
Nope. Don't be confident on that one man. We have a different sqad now. Harbajan, sehwag, pathan etc gone now. We have piyush, karthik, ghambhir. It is not the 2006 squad where we lost badly.

SA are without some of their main plyaers too. This match may have been decided in the last over but it was no way a close game at any point. Even when they lost 3-4 wickets I had no doubt in my mind that SA would win it easily.

Dravid clearly messed up in bowling, he gave Ganguly way too many overs.
