*Official* South Africa in West Indies

Parnell's only young and still adjusting to the rigours of the longer form of the game. Had he been fit he would have played ahead of Tsotsobe. He lends left-arm variety. Their problem though is that they lack depth outside of these bowlers. And of course the fact that Harris is so poor.

I agree, although Ntini is performing in England and worthy of a possible call up again. Other than that, if McLaren is next in line, that's pretty poor. And Tahir's eligibility can't come any sooner.

Keeping Rampaul in is just madness imo , how many times does the guy have to prove how crap he is at this level? Pascal alongside Roach would have been perfect imo, and Dowlin will just be a sitting duck as usual too.

I really do feel sorry for Shillingford who bowled his heart out on this flat pitch and he deserved more than the two wickets he got. Very poor effort from the Windies in the field.

It'll be interesting to see what happens when the West Indies selectors have to make a choice between Benn and Shillingford.

It seems a very flat track. Maybe it's destined for a draw though the Windies needed to play for a win in order to take the series. There were a few catches which went down plus some teasing edges falling short. A good day for SA. Smith certainly capitalised on the flat conditions in an average-booster. Better showing from Amla, though he was missed on 14.

This is going to be a remarkable series for South Africans :

Smith crossing 7000 test runs
Kallis crossing 11000 test runs [ Needs 10 more runs ]
AB crossing 4000 test runs
Steyn crossing 200 test wickets
Boucher 500 test dismissals [ Needs 2 more dismissals ]
