If you think I follow you then you're getting a wee bit paranoid.

A person who follows people around is a stalker btw.
Well you're welcome to prove my theory wrong!!, not crying over every "controversial" opinion i express about the team I SUPPORT would be a start  .

Btw a groupie also follows their "hero" around too!!

Throwing a bunch of kids to the slaughter isn't the way to do that. In Gayle, Sarwan and Chanderpaul, you've got three batsmen who are good enough at this level and the kids need to be added gradually to the batting lineup. Simply throwing in a bunch of kids to be beaten again and again will do nothing for West Indies cricket.

Besides, you repeatedly point to the performance in Australia as a sign that the West Indies are improving. Gayle was the key batsman in that series, it completely baffles me that you're choosing to ignore that.
Yes the fight we put up in Australia was great, but right now that seems like a decade ago, that same spirit no longer seems to be there.

Your theory that we should replace Gayle, Chanderpaul and co. with the WI under 12s isn't a theory that needs disproving. There's wild theories, then there is that idea. One or two players for someone like Nash is worthy of discussion, and then there's your ideas.

And you aint mah hero br0.

Who's "we"? your an NZ fan!! , btw Barath and Darren Bravo are already in the side, Brathwaite plays for Barbados and the A-team already, Chesney Hughes is doing wonders in county cricket for Derbyshire and Powell has also played for WI too, so "under 12's" they are not!! 8-) ,

And i know i'm not your hero, that's why i talked about the stalking issue!! .

Cheap.

People can like more than one team you know. I don't see you getting all hissy that Got Spin supports both the WI and Australia.
And did i say people can't like two different teams? 8-) there's a difference between "like" and "support" you know!!.

silentstriker is American, does that mean he should only support America and no other country in cricket?

I think I'll try get this thread back on track - I know, what has happened to me?

But I basically agree with this. The upcoming talent should be gradually groomed and added into a team that should be built around its three most successful players. Thrusting a group of international newbies together onto the international test stage (not just A or first class) is bound for failure in almost every case. Like I've said before, I'd rather see a series of losses now rather than preventing future players from fully developing their talent.

There's a reason why most Australian test players don't debut until their mid 20s. It gives them room to work on their game rather than being found out time and time again in the international arena and then hoping one day it magically clicks.

Thats your opinion. People not necessarily support their own team always, it depends on who play their game with flair, attacking style. There is a reason WI is second favourite team for most of the people, at least until they saw your posts.

Yeah, but Barath is the only one that should be playing test cricket at this stage of his career. Kraigg Brathwaite is a seventeen year old kid ffs, he hasn't even scored a first class 100 yet and only averages 30 in his six first class matches. If he's the West Indies next best option then I'm sorry but your've got some serious problems. Kieran Powell's much the same also, he's yet to score a first class 100 and even though he has a tremendous amount of natural talent he showed in his two ODI's that he's nowhere near good enough to be playing international cricket at this stage of his career.
