I'd rather have bamboo shoots inserted under my finger nails than watch an Amla century. The guy has a dog ugly technique. Not worthy of oiling Kallis's cricket bat, that bloke.

Pakistan are playing only 2 seamers??!!! Asif and Gul will probably be injured by the end of the two tests. Akthar should have been given a chance to redeem himself on the field - a 3rd seamer is whats been lacking from todays play for Pakistan.

Apparantly the pitch was dead pretty early, a little bit of turn for the spinners but quite slow.

Pakistan end day one on 294/3. Kallis 118* and Prince 3*. I can see these two building up a big partnership TBH, would like to see Prince go on and make a score. Kallis set for a big one if he can get his eye in early tomorrow.

Way to go Pakistan.

The only strong area we had was our fast bowling and they went on to prepare the deadest of track to nullify that aswell.

the option should have been wether rahman or danish Kaneria

what is the point of playing that many spiners.. sohail tanveer should have been given a chance...
akmal again costed pakistan the match... why they are giving him too many chances...he should be droped.. he is droping more catches then making those runs.. chancess in crucial moments.. batsman like dravid and kalies ..they give u chance once to get them out... and when u blow it get ready for the big boring innings..

Unless from a chance to redeem himself on the field you mean he should be allowed to finish the job on the field (with a bat in hand) what he left unfinished in the dressing room :dry:
