Maharaj is bowling too flat and straight. Needs to get it a bit wider like the last ball and flight it a bit more and fuller.

So Fawad Alam's having only been selected for 7 tests, given his first class record, is completely insane.

Who did he piss off? What's the story with it?

Fawad Alam has a first-class average of 56, with nearly 13,000 runs. Good to see him having some success.

Just like in Australia, where you make the test team averaging 35-38.

It was during the Misbah - Younis UAE era when he was dominating the FC scene. There was only one slot in the available in the middle order and Asad was preferred by Misbah and the selectors for some odd reason.

Fawad was recalled briefly in the ODI team. Not his strongest format, and after an awful series against Australia, he was dropped again. There's always been media pressure here in Pakistan for his selection, and I suspect his latest recall to the side was just to get the media to back off. It's good he's making the most of it, but his best form is behind him sadly. Hasn't dominated the recent few FC seasons as he used to.
