To be fair it was to the left of him and right of Latham. Both would be going for it if it went to their stronger side. Shouldn't CDG be at 2nd and Latham at 3rd?

Maybe if they’d known in advance that it was coming. But Latham’s always second slip.

Yeah you don't switch your slips around just because ones a left hander. That would suggest that every time there's a RH/LH batting combination you change them around, and there's no way you want to do that

I thought initially it was CDG's catch but yeah it bisected he and Latham perfectly. Still a bad miss and I'm surprised the coverage has barely replayed it.

Feel like CDG and Latham were on exactly the same line, where if they'd both gone for it they would have collided. CDG should be a step in front
