It can't just be due to a fire alarm if there's no smoke around. That just can't be protocol in an international sporting event. Utterly brainless.

Stuff's commentary says "as far as anyone can see it's a false alarm". If that's the case, and if Sunday rain ends up robbing us of a result... :mad:

They felt the players were safe on the wicket, yet seemed to think people on the banks further away were in danger. Nothing makes sense about the thing.

Er...the firemen are the best equipped to deal with such an emergency.

I know it's annoying and everything but they're there for a reason. It'd be a bit bizarre to put peoples' safety behind an international sporting event.

It's on a knife edge. Wickets have fallen in the morning sessions.

Tough one. With Taylor not 100% maybe 270 depending if this pitch deteriorates more.
