Thinking of all the domestic bullies that got a chance in tests. HD Ackerman, Martin van Jaarsveld, Zander de Bruyn, Boeta Dippenaar, Jacques Rudolph, Adam Bacher, JP Duminy, Stephen Cook, Heino Kuhn.

Where will Theunis' story end up.

Ooops. Tough circumstances but I think he doesn't have the self belief for this level.

We're going to get Elgar carrying the bat at least once this series arent we?

If Dean gets 60+ score here then he goes past the great Bruce Mitchell in leading run scorers in test cricket for SA. Will go to 13th on the list.

Sir RJ on the verge of a special milestone. Would love to watch him reach 200 wickets early tomorrow. Among spinners, only Murali has taken 200+ wickets at under 24.

I know its my English blood speaking , but at least show some ****ing fight, I know we are probably going to lose but come on show a spine

This is where I'll give credit to Elgar. We've got a team full of talented players with weak mentalities, where's he's somewhat the opposite - its not always pretty, but he seems to come good when the going gets tough.

Grave injustice that Karun Nair is constantly ignored by the Indian selectors. He'll be a rampaging batsman if given enough chances imo. Have always rated him.

Not the easiest series to follow. Finding a stream is a challenge, usual sources coming up with no results or 144p video quality with Indic commentary and the highlights on YouTube are awful. Best result I found had the audio about 10 seconds in front of the ¼ sized image, so, when watching Elgar hit a four, I heard Markram getting bowled.
